Installing Internet Mail Support for Exchange

In order to use Exchange client with Mailcoach, Exchange must first be able to "talk" SMTP/POP3. This requires the installation of the Internet mail support for Exchange. This is included in the Windows95 Plus pack and some other packages from Microsoft. You can also download this kit from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/kb/softlib/mslfiles/inetmail.exe

If you are sure that the Internet mail protocol is already installed, jump to next section, Configuring Internet Mail Support for Exchange

Close as many applications that you are running as possible. After the installation of the Internet mail support, your machine will be rebooted so close the applications now rather than later.

1. Download the internet mail support file.
2. Select the Run option from the Windows 95 Start menu.
