This menu contains a list of registered users.

New…
Press this button to register a new user
Clone…
Clone can be used to create new user with the same settings as a previous user. Select a user in the list and press Clone.
Edit…
Select a user in the list and press this button to edit.
Delete
Select a user in the list and press this button to delete user.


New, Clone or Edit will bring this menu up:

General - tab

POP3 account:
Enter the name you wish to use when accessing the POP3 account.

E-mail address:
The E-mail name without domain.

POP3 password:
If the user should have a his own password, enter this here.

Access level:
This selection determines which level of access the user has.
Important!: When Mailcoach is installed and configured, the access to all settings is protected by password. Only the Postmaster
can access settings with his E-mail name and password!
In this system, the postmaster is also the system administrator


Domain:
Select the domain that this user should use.

Only internal access:
If this option is checked, the user cannot send mail to outside. To use this functionality, it must be enabled in the system setup.

-User Normal access
-Priority mail The user can request immediate UUCP transport by choosing priority mail.
-Postmaster One, and only one user for each domain must have this selection. This user will receive all mail addressed to postmaster@yourdomain.



Use global pop3 password:
If this option is selected, the user uses the global password specified in the system-setup - general - tab.





Alias - tab

Use alias:
This option must be selected to activate the use of alias.

You may set up one or more alias for your E-mail address, for example, if you create the alias: hobie, for the user robert , then mail can be sent either
to hobie@yourdomain or to robert@yourdomain

To add Alias

Type the name in the Alias - field and press the add button.

To Remove Alias

Select the name from the list and press the Remove -button.

Auto reply - tab

Allow registration and use of auto reply:
If this option is checked, the user can create and add his own auto reply by sending it to Mailcoach.

Auto reply is further described in the Remote commands section.

Forward - tab

Use forwarding:
When this option is selected all mail to this user is redirected (forwarded) to the address specified in the
forward address field

Keep copy:
If this option is checked, a copy of the mail will be retained in the user mailbox.

Forward address:
Enter the address to where the mail should be forwarded.

Distribution - tab

Mail to one user can be copied to other users, this can be useful when having an E-mail address info@company.com. In this case, mail could be copied to both the sales office and the support office and each of them can answer the questions that concerns them.

Distribution activated:
This option must be checked to enable distribution.

Keep own mailbox closed:
If checked, no mail will be save in this users own mailbox.

To add recipients

Select a user from the list or enter a valid E-mail address manually. Press the add button.

To remove recipients

Select from the list and press the remove -button.
